Ringwood town is full of shops and cafes, and has a football team, a rugby team and a sailing lake who are happy for spectators. There is also an abundance of historical buildings and beautiful churches. IT is on the edge of the New Forest, for walks and cycling. Blashford lakes is located just outside of town, and the Castleman Trailway, which was the old railway, runs through town for beautiful walks or bike rides.

RINGWOOD CHURCHES
Welcoming Ukrainians to Ringwood
There are a number of churches in Ringwood, each has its own style and tradition and all work together to serve the local community - including launching the Love Ukraine Ringwood project. You will find links to the churches here.

There are various activities organised for children, families and adults. These include baby and toddler groups, youth groups, lego groups, lunch groups, home groups, walking groups, and more.

MOORS VALLEY
Moors Valley is a very local large outdoor park for walkers, children to play and railway. Its located just outside of Ringwood. The park is free to entre but you must pay for the car park. Older children may enjoy a bike ride through the forest to get there for free but it is quite a far journey for younger children.

There is two play parks, a play trail through the woods, cycling trails, picnic areas, toilets and a restaurant as well as a train that runs in the school holidays and weekends.
Moors Valley also run walking sessions and a running session on the weekends for adults, as well as yoga and organised bike rides.
TINY TALKERS
Laura and her class families would like to donate any unused spaces in our classes to parents with young children from Ukraine.
They use British sign language, alongside songs, stories and development activities to help children communicate before they can talk, (this works well across all languages) and each session includes a free play element with refreshments for parents/carers and time to chat and feel part of things together.
Please call Laura for a chat in the first instance 07940 519 653
