THINGS TO DO
Theres lots of things to see and do around Ringwood, and plenty to keep children entertained too. Lots of activitites and places to visit are free, but some have charges too. You may be able to meet with other Ukrainian familes and friends at some of these places, or visit with your host family. We hope you'll find lots to do, places to make friends and places for children to learn and play.
Ringwood town is full of shops and cafes, and is easily walking distance from most houses in the area. Ringwood has a football team, a rugby team and a sailing lake who are happy for spectators. There is also an abundance of grand and historical buildings and beautiful churches.

Ringwood has two gyms and leisure centres, one is run by the council and is located near the town centre, the other is a private club located slightly further out of town.

Ringwood is near to the New Forest, for walks and cycling. There is some very pretty scenery whilst out and about enjoying the views. Blashford lakes is located just outside of town, and the castleman trail, which was the old railway, runs through town for beautiful walks.

There is a market every Wednesday as well as Farmers Markets every month.

GREYFRIARS
Greyfriars Community Centre run a number of different clubs and activities which can be found on thier calendar on the website. Clubs such as dancing, excersise, Zumba and yoga meet here, as well as various crafts.

Greyfriars is located next to the library, near the town centre.
RINGWOOD LIBRARY
Ringwood Library offers books that can he hired, computers that can be booked to borrow for a time period, as well as being the location for the Community Fridge. You can also print and photocopy here.
​
The library is offering Ukraine Connections, which is a chance to meet others for and chat and drink.
